Practice Builders
Thank you to Mr. Tom Lubin, my College Chemistry Instructor for handing out this quote the first day of class.
| "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent. The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave." |
| U.S. President (John) Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933) |

Here is some anecdotal evidence for reducing ear infections.
One young mother's children
were getting reoccurring ear infections. At the suggestion of her chiropractor, after
a bath,
shower or swim, she would place a tissue over her finger and then at the entrance of
the
external auditory meatus (tipping the child's head downward as to help the drainage)
doing
this once for each ear minimized the pooling of water in the external cannel and thus
minimized
the chance to foster a bacterial infection. And this was enough to prevent any ear
infections thus far.
Background: Bronchitis is the irritation and infection of the lungs, specifically the larger tubes. The lining of these bronchioles are covered with mucous producing cells. Why? To produce mucous, to trap bacteria, so you can cough it all out of your lungs.
1.
Drink Lots of Water Each Time You Cough, Should Be a Reminder to Take a Sip
of Water. (2 liters per day or
Half Your Body Weight in Ounces, a 200 pound person should drink 100 oz. of
water)
REASON: Your Body Needs the Water to Supply to the Mucous Producing Cells So
They Can Do Their Job.
(Produce Mucous to Trap the
Bacteria Do You Can Cough It Out.) i.e.; that your lungs/body is well hydrated
from the inside.
2. Take 2 Hot Steamy Showers Each Day. REASON: This will hydrate you lungs from
the outside.
